If you are searching for Appointly Solutions reviews, the most useful thing we can give you is what our floor coating clients have said on the record, with their names, their markets, and their calendars attached. Across all our clients, 97% of booked appointments show up and our clients close 60% of them on average, across markets and products. Three published case studies, at close rates of 50 to 70%, show what that looks like, and the owners explain their numbers in their own words on video. This page pulls that together, along with the limits of the model and how to check every claim yourself before you sign anything.
How does the Appointly Solutions model work?
Before the reviews make sense, you need to know what clients are reviewing. Appointly Solutions is a pay per appointment Meta ads agency for garage floor coating, concrete coating, and epoxy contractors. The full process is on how it works, but the short version is this:
- We run the ads. Facebook and Instagram campaigns in your service area, run from our own ad account. You never touch Ads Manager, and you own everything we build for you: the campaigns, the creative, the audiences, and every homeowner record.
- We text and call every lead within one minute. The homeowner gets a branded text and a phone call from Jacob, our co-founder, who makes every call himself, while they still have the phone in their hand. Every call is recorded and reviewed.
- We qualify on intent and educate. We confirm the project goal, the look and material they want, and a real timeline. No real timeline means no booking. We also talk through the product so they understand what they are buying.
- We book the estimate. The appointment lands on your calendar with notes from the call.
- You run the estimate and do the work.
On pricing: you fund your ad spend as a prefunded balance, drawn down at cost with no markup, reported weekly, with any unused balance returned within 10 business days of termination. On top of that you pay $125 to $175 per booked estimate, set per client and invoiced separately. There is no setup fee, no retainer, and no long term contract. A no-show is credited automatically to your next appointment. After every estimate you grade the appointment in the Appointly app. Grade it a C and tell us what was wrong, such as an unqualified homeowner or a service you do not offer, and you do not pay for it: the fee is credited automatically to your next appointment.
We wrote a whole post on why we do the calling ourselves instead of handing you a phone number: why we call every floor coating lead ourselves. Almost every client comment below traces back to that first phone call.
What do the published case studies report?
These are the only client results we publish, and each one is on its own page with the calendar screenshots and the owner's interview.
| Client | Market | Product | Close rate | Average job | Monthly ad spend |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Clean Floor Coatings | Myrtle Beach, SC | Epoxy and polyaspartic | About 70% on shown appointments | Not published | About $2,600 |
| AFAB Services | Port St. Lucie, FL | Floor coating | 57% | $3,500 | Not published |
| Garage Force of the Inland Northwest | Spokane, WA | Full polyurea system | 50% | $5,000 | About $2,000 |
A few notes on how to read that table, because the details matter:
- Close rates count immediate closes on appointments that have already taken place. Appointments still on the calendar, and quotes still in follow-up, are not counted as wins or losses.
- Clean Floor Coatings ran 37 shown appointments in its first month and closed 26, and first appointments landed the week the ads went live, in a market crowded with local operators and national franchises.
- AFAB Services closed 18 jobs in the first month, and Mark's best month so far was $35k or more in closed revenue (closed jobs multiplied by his $3,500 average). He has been with us the longest of the three.
- Garage Force sells a premium product at a premium price, so we send fewer, higher quality appointments. 90% of their appointments were prequalified.
The numbers are not identical, and they should not be. Across all our clients the average is 60%, but close rate depends on the product, the market, and the person running the estimate. Our own benchmarks page says the same thing: there is no single close rate benchmark for floor coating, because it moves with the product and the estimator.
What do clients say about the appointments?
The theme that comes up again and again is that the homeowner is already sold on the product before the owner arrives. Here is what owners have said, word for word.
Mark T., AFAB Services, Port St. Lucie, FL:
"You've already paved the ground. I just go in and sweep it up. You guys are doing a great job."
In his interview, Mark also explained why the vetting matters to him:
"I like the idea that you vet the people. You make sure that they're not just kicking tires, because time is money, whether it's yours or mine."
And on what he had before:
"I would have 30 different things a week, but maybe two of them were legit."
Phil A., Clean Floor Coatings, Myrtle Beach, SC, describing the difference between a lead and what he gets from us:
"So a lead isn't a lead. Like if somebody says, how much does a lead cost? This isn't a lead. This is somebody that's at the bottom of the funnel, ready to make a buying decision."
Eric, Garage Force of the Inland Northwest, Spokane, WA:
"We weren't going on enough appointments, and the ones we were going on, we were basically wasting our time, spending hours to go on a bid that wasn't qualified. So the prequalification that you're doing for us is amazing."
Shani, Garage Force of the Inland Northwest, on whether homeowners liked dealing with a third party:
"That was a concern for us as a small business: do we want a third party out there fielding our leads and scheduling our bids? And it's been great for us and for our customers."
Beyond the three case studies, a few other owners have given us approved quotes:
- Andre S., D&V maintenance, Chicago, IL: "By the time I show up, they already know they want it. I'm just there to give the number."
- Nate: "As you know, I track all my business data. After a slow first few weeks, over the last 2 months I'm at a 58% close rate from your appointments, which is about on par with my own warm leads. You just give me a lot more volume."
- Will: "Yeah dude, I really don't have to do much. I show up, we do the estimate, and it usually goes really well. They're pretty warmed up."
Notice what Nate said. Our appointments closed about on par with his own warm leads. That is a fair way to think about it: the goal is not a magic close rate, it is more estimates that behave like your best referrals.
What do clients say went wrong or took time?
A review page with only good news is not worth much, so here is the other side, also in the owners' own words.
The start can be slow. Phil described his first week plainly:
"The first week for me was a little scary. I think I had two or three appointments. There were small jobs and I projected and said, man, maybe this isn't going to work."
Eric said dialing in the right appointments took time:
"It's taken us a couple of weeks, probably a month and a half, to really start dialing it in."
And Mark, at the start of his interview:
"First couple of weeks, we're going to work out glitches, and things happen."
Not every booked appointment is a good one. Phil told a story about a homeowner who turned out to need driveway concrete work before any coating could go down. He did not like the trip, and we did not charge him for it. Eric described the same process from his side:
"You're willing to credit stuff back that just turned out to not be a fit."
That is what the appointment quality guarantee is for. Qualification on a phone call is good, not perfect, so any appointment you grade a C in the app, with a note on what was wrong, is credited automatically to your next appointment.
It is not built for cheap volume. Eric said this directly when asked what he would tell a skeptical owner:
"If you're just looking for as many small, cheap jobs as you can get, maybe it's not a fit. If you're looking for quality, pre-qualified leads, then it's absolutely worth the spend."
When is Appointly Solutions not the right fit?
We are a fit for owners with a premium product who charge well, are good at sales, and have room on the calendar for more estimates. We say these on sales calls too.
| Situation | Our honest take |
|---|---|
| Another coating contractor in your market already works with us | We hold one contractor per market, written into their service agreement, so we cannot take you on there. You can join the waitlist or ask about nearby areas. |
| You employ a great setter who answers every lead inside a minute, evenings and Saturdays | Running your own ads is likely the better value. You already have the part that turns leads into estimates. See in-house appointment setter vs outsourced. |
| Your estimate process is weak or inconsistent | We can put qualified homeowners in front of you, but results depend on your sales process. Phil's close rate is a combination of our qualifying and his strong estimate. |
| You want the cheapest possible jobs in volume | Our qualifying is built to filter out low budget tire kickers, which means fewer appointments than a raw lead list. |
| You cannot handle more estimates right now | Fix capacity first. Booked estimates you cannot run in a reasonable window go cold. |
That third row is the one owners underestimate. Our case study for Clean Floor Coatings credits Phil's results to two things: a strong sales process and good materials at a fair price. We control the appointment. You control the estimate.
How can you verify what clients say?
You should not trust any agency's review page on its own, including this one. Here is how to check.
Watch the full interviews.
Each case study page has the owner's interview on video, in short clips plus the full interview and a written transcript. Listen for the hesitations and the caveats as well as the praise. Start with the case studies page.
Look at the calendars.
Each case study shows screenshots of the owner's actual estimate calendar over several weeks, with appointments we booked and cancellations marked. Count them yourself.
Ask for a reference.
On a strategy call, ask to speak with a current client in a market similar to yours. Ask them what the first month looked like, how many appointments missed, and how credits were handled.
Check the published business details.
Look the owners and companies up. They are real coating businesses with real markets.
Get the terms in writing.
Before you start, confirm the per appointment fee for your market, what counts as a qualified appointment, how no-shows are credited, and that your market is exclusive.
If you are vetting agencies in general, our guide to questions to ask before hiring a floor coating marketing agency works for us and for anyone else on your list.
A note on fake reviews
The FTC's Consumer Reviews and Testimonials Rule bans fake reviews and testimonials, including reviews written by a business about itself or attributed to people who did not use the service. That is why this page has no rating widget and no anonymous five star quotes. If you see a vendor in this space with dozens of glowing reviews and no names, markets, or calendars behind them, treat that as a reason to dig deeper, not a reason to sign.
Frequently asked questions
Is Appointly Solutions legit?
You can check that yourself rather than taking our word. Our case studies name the client companies, their owners, and their markets, show weeks of their estimate calendars, and include full video interviews with the owners. On a strategy call you can ask for a reference and get the terms in writing before spending anything.
What results do Appointly Solutions clients get?
Across all our clients, 97% of booked appointments show up and our clients close 60% of them on average, across markets and products. Our three published case studies report close rates of about 70%, 57%, and 50%, with average jobs of $3,500 and $5,000 where the owner shared the figure. Results vary with your product, your market, and how well you run the estimate, so treat those as examples rather than a promise.
What are the common complaints about Appointly Solutions?
The honest ones from our own clients are that the first few weeks can be slow while the campaign and qualifying criteria get dialed in, and that some booked appointments turn out not to be a fit. Appointments you grade a C in the app are not paid for, and no-shows are credited automatically to your next appointment. Our one contractor per market rule also means some owners cannot join because their area is taken.
Does Appointly Solutions require a contract?
No. There is no long term contract, no setup fee, and no retainer. You fund your ad spend at cost and pay $125 to $175 per booked estimate, set per client. Details are on our pricing page.
Why are there no star ratings on this page?
Because a rating we publish about ourselves is not an independent review. We would rather show you named owners, their numbers, their calendars, and their full interviews, and let you judge the evidence directly.
Check your market
If what you have read here sounds like your business, the next step is simple: find out whether your market is open, what a booked estimate costs in your area, and how many estimates a week fit your crew. We work with one floor coating contractor per market, written into the service agreement.
Book a strategy call, ask us the hard questions, and ask for a reference while you are at it.
